The males of the bighorn sheep have this "dominance contest" every year at mating season. (Now you know why the males are called "rams". Just kidding. Actually the root word means "strong, sharp, bitter" -- with reference to the strong smell at mating season.)
Ever notice how humans with very similar ego characteristics react when they happen to be in the same physical, professional or ideological AREA in the same ERA? (Or should that be: "idiot logical"?)
